best way to find a part time job?
    #11250010 - 10/15/09 01:37 AM (8 years, 6 months ago)

i tried already a bunch through craigslist, but man those sources are just isntantly swamped with people. thats where everybody looks

i need a little bit of a more lowkey tip on how to find a decent part time job maybe serving food or working at a store.... if im going to use the internet...

im going to take a moment here to complain about the online applicants all corporate buisnesses use.... you NEVER speak with a human life form... and the machine asks you all sorts of weird personal questions over and over again for consistency.... psycho exam i guess, its wierd but its everywhere blockbuster, target, petsmart, whole foods, etc. the places are just constantly flooded with applicants

finding a job sucks. Walking into places is almost a waste of time because they just tell you to go home and apply online. Everybody seems to get a job though "hook-ups" it seems.

This is why I am hoping to become an entrepreneur of some sort.one day

Have you tried any of the temp agencies you no doubt have in your area? It's a good way to get a foot in the door, as it were.

I have a friend that works at home being a Customer Service Rep for DirectTV. She sits at home and answers calls 4 hours during the day and 4 hours later that night. She seems to really love it. I filled out a application myself. I guess they hire new people every week. The starting pay is 9.50 an hour.

Work on a farm (early hours can be a drag though), the upside is (if in south) you would have access to fields.

Laying sod can be quick easy money.
