Fogger Device Problem.. Fan's keep Dying, possible solution

I'm currently using a fogger device which uses a fan at the top of it to force fresh air and fog into my FC. However, fans keep dying due to humidity problems. I've attempted to seal my fans with silicone the best I can but it's near impossible to get them completely water proof and functional. After 2days-2 months a fan dies. So I'm trying to find a way so that I can use the same design, of having a fan pushing freshair in and it not DYING on me. My current possible solution is to put tyvek between the fan and the opening which it is blowing into. Tyvek is suppose to be water proof in a sense, this should keep out a majority of the fog. However, will the air still be able to go through? Here's a picture of what I'm trying to do.

Best solution to fan longevity is to leave it on. It'll last 100x longer that way.

What type of fan are you using?
If the fan is not powerful enough (computer fans are bad) your cavity will fill with fog so when you turn the system off, you have very high humidity air essentially engulfing the fan.
Get some 3in or 4in sheet metal pipe from Lowe's - sold where they have dryer tubing, etc.
Use the pipe to elevate your fan away from the chamber. The high humidified air is heavy and will not tend to climb the pipe.
If possible, control your ultrasonic element and fan using two separate timers. Turn the ultrasonic off first. Keep the fan running for another minute or so, then turn it off. That way you are decreasing the amount humid air in the cavity and the amount that can reach the fan.
I use 5 ultrasonic elements and a 171 cfm fan (speed reduced using a router speed control). My fan has been going fine for over a year now.
Good Luck

By the way, looking at your drawing, you want that humidity chamber OUTSIDE of your fruiting chamber.
Use inexpensive dryer hose to route the high humidity air, being blown by your fan, into the top of you fruiting chamber.
Nature will take over as it gently falls to the bottom.
If you had your fan in the fruiting chamber (as drawn), and the fan was never designed to operate in a high humidity enviroment, then it makes sense that it is quickly failing.

Tyvek does not breath that well or it will not let even 3% of the forced air from the fan pass threw it. Polly fill is better.
depending on the fan type the design looks fine just set the timer to allow the humidity to recover then fan and recover etc. so long as RH does not remain too low.
i use a bubbler too and have gotten longer fan times out if it too.
good luck
