liberty help needed

Hi guys

thanks again for your help on IDing my libs.

The feild iv found is absolutly full of them! iv been out for an hour or so every night since haha.

I'm just wondering if any one has any information on when in the mushrroms life cycle is the best time to pick them? Has there been any research into when the highest concentrations of psychoactive 'stuff' occurs?

Also if anyone has any reccomended shroom recipies, pass em on ;-)

Cheers.

Habitat: grass field, shadey, wet north-facing. used for grazing sheep and cows.

Gills: The gill color is a geyish brown. The gills are not attached to the stalk.

Stem: Whitish, golden, light brown. shiney. length ranges from 3 - 12cm. diameter 0.3 cm

Cap: ranging from whitish golden to brown, largest 3.5 cm in diameter, smallest 0.5 cm

Spore print color: dark grey / almost purple.

Bruising: blue / bluish grey or sometimes brown brusing colour (especially on the stalks, where they were picked).

Location: Picked in southwest England (12 Oct 2009)

They appear to be libs, or at least most of them, but that spore print picture looks black to me.

it might be the flash on mym camera but the spores look very dark purple to me

the really small one on the far left of the second picture has brown gills and a darkish red/brown stem, chuck that.
the rest are 100% magiicccc :mushroom2:, enjoy!!

edit:
curious, why have you blacked out the cap of one of them?
from the stem colour it looks like that one might not be lib either.

Nice find.
get all the libs you can, dry em out and store them.
use a fan to dry them, I always just layed them out on paper and blew-dry them, they will be dry in a couple hours,.

i blacked that one out cos it clearly aint a lib! It was all one uniform muddy brown colour, kinda like that one on the left

These are the first libs ive found. im very excited!
