Like in that movie "The Beach." Supposedly it has aphrodisiac qualities but that's a load of crock.

I drank whiskey with cobra blood last year when a friend brought some back from Thailand. The dude butchered the snake in front of them and drained the blood into the the bottle, then filled up the rest of it with whiskey. Can't remember the name of it, some sort of rice whiskey I believe. Pretty tasty and really strong stuff. He had the bottle of it with blood and a couple bottles without and honestly aside from the color you couldn't tell a difference.
Got some pics of the dude butchering the snake somewhere.

Same thing happened to me when I played Neil Armstrong in Moonshot. They found me in an alley in Burbank trying to re-enter the earth's atmosphere in an old refrigerator box.

It actually dates back 1000ds of years. Drinking blood has a symbolic meaning.
Think about the snake and what it represents. Now drinking its blood might have a mystical meaning. It's ritualistic.

i imagine they also cook the snake and eat it, i wouldnt mind eating snake as every single person i have talked to says it tastes similar to chicken. I mean I ate alligator, cant be too different.
on a side note, how much time do you spend getting your hair to look like that?

Ive drank cobra blood and venom in South Africa and Egypt when i lived there...we would cook the whole snake and eat it..pretty nice, although the venom was nasty...nice subtle effects too from the blood

i hate those guys. the show seemed like it would be cool but they are pretty disrespectful and not that amusing imo. on a related note though, andrew zimmern drank the cobra blood with organs inside of it on his show bizarre world then they made soup/fried the rest of the snake. mmmm blood sausage.
