Moisture problem( PE Albino Pin Porn) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    #11242824 - 10/13/09 09:44 PM (14 years, 5 months ago)

Im getting a crap load of contensation build up. The other day i had to cut them open and pour the water out. But some still have water at the bottom, and a few bags are not really colonizing on the bottom cause it was so wet.  Is this going to be a problem, or does this usually happen?

Here are the bags as of today. they kinda have a yellow color from me pouring out the water.

You can see the bag on the top right still has water on the bottom...

seems your fiters may not be allowing for proper gas exchange.  its not breathing well enough for excess moisture to evaporate off.  thus your condensation build up.

just an observation guess, Im not there to know all the variables.

also i have had this in bags too and it seems to be a yeast bloom to me if i catch it when it first starts i can smell it but if i wait its hard to tell. unless you do a side by side with a bag unaffected . sniff them all man i do its the best way to compare them.

oh ya i remember that b-day cool do the sniff comparison yest might have gotten in.

U need to raise the temp in the room..  think of it this way it is 80-85 in the bags and say its 70 degrees in the room well the temp difference cause extra condensation given the fact the substrate/straw is already wet so it is condensing due to the temp difference IMO

They dont all have a problem, but they all have a little moisture on the bottom of the bags.

I can move them all around in the bag so they are laying the length of the bag with the filter patch on top:shrug:  They are all pretty much fully colonized except little spots here and there...

I wouldn't raise room temp.  It sounds like condensation due to a temperature differential between the air in the bags and the cooler air in the room.  Lay a towel over the bags and see if the insulation cuts down on the condensation.

Sounds like the possible problem, your temps are so far off that you are getting extra condensation flooding your bags..  IMO of course.
