ok around 4 -5 days ago cant remember i used this tek to make my LC

i used about 1.5CC of spore solution.
in about a pint of water and honey mix.. 1 TSBP of honey.


i followed all the directions and was pretty sterile about it

but

today i see the first thing ..

brown like threads are forming all over ..
when i shake it up they are kinnda like waves..
the honey itself is getting clearer.
i dont know if this is a contam or is it okay??

when you have a lc made from honey is it suppost to be white only or what?

Only one way to know if an LC is good or bad... test it on a jar and wait. NO ONE can tell you for sure if it's gone to the darkside though I'm sure someone will chime in and say "Mine did that and it was fine" or "your fuct" but really, wait a few more days a test that shite out.

And an LC can look pristine but then you go and shoot up 20 jars without following the before mentioned andvice and your LC is dirty

i let everything settle to the bottom and used a flashlight up close to it and it looks white!!

uhm again it doesnt matter what colour an LC is.  The only way to know is to shoot up a test jar.

dude just knock up a couple brf jars and see what happens, its the only real way.  there is no way to test it

next time make 2 jars and a control with no spores in it.

i agree wait the 3-5 days for groth and knock a few jars and wait.

the next best thing is to do agar work and isolate 1 strain and then do an lc. then you can be as confident of its condition as you are about your sterile tek.
