favorite album to shroom out to? (probably a thread that's already been done)
    #11241775 - 10/13/09 07:26 PM (14 years, 5 months ago)

If this is a thread that's already been done before, my bad--I'm a noob.

If you were to "custom design" someone elses trip for them, what album (ok--you can pick 2 or 3) would you use as the soundtrack.  I find that I like different music for different stages--something upbeat when peaking and then something slowed down when coming down.  I always find it such a chore to pick the "perfect" tripping music--so I'm hoping that some others will alleviate me of this tedious chore and just write the soundtrack for my next journey.  I know, I know--music is matter of personal taste and everyone is going to say, "well, Noob, it just depends on what you like!"  Ok--agreed.  But pretend that you and I share identical taste in music (and we might--I like just about everything)--what would your ultimate trip music be?

(even better if you have Rapidshare links)

Any Children of Bodom, always.

So I can be pissed during my trip and go on a rampage killing people in their own houses.

I will take the name of a "typical drug user" and be sentenced to death.

Broken Social Scene-You Forgot it in People

It's wonderful.

Beck's album, Midnite Vultures, is awesome for parties if you are tripping.

choices, choices, so many choices!  I love trippin to classical to sometimes.  I was sitting at the beach a couple of weeks ago coming down off a very mellow trip and I was listening to Vivaldi 4 seasons as loud as my earbuds would crank it--something so sad about it (although I don't find the same song sad when sober) and I literally had tears running down my cheeks while people were walking by.  Probably looked like I'd just lost my family in a fiery car wreck.  Have to check out some of these others--haven't heard of any of them

Sleep - Holy Mountain. Totally dig on the stoner/sludge metal when tripping.

Not my favorite album to shroom to (don't have one, I rock a playlist brah), but the one I had one of my most memorable shroom trips to was Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" album. My friend got bad mushrooms that made him delirious and very sick and sent him into a bad trip. He ended up freaking out at a train station (he had been out and about and starting flipping out at the train station). He slapped a random dude, tried to steal and lady's purse, ran on the tracks, ripped out an IV, headbutted a cop while he was cuffed, ect. I had to witness the whole thing sober. I later (that night) took 4gs good mushrooms (my homegrowns, no idea why my friend took these ones) and listened to that album (which is about Syd Barret losing his mind from LSD abuse). Very powerful considering the context.

:w0ahhhhmahnnn:

My friend was okay by the way.
