Spent Sub Outside

You guys think I should leave the lid off this or just manually fan it a couple times a day? Ive already seen a few bugs in there, I'd like to keep them out

I thought this was pretty cool though. My grandmother has some bins with soil and I dont even know what growing in it, so I placed some spent sub about an inch underneath the top layer of soil.

This was about 2 weeks ago and the lid hasnt come off at all and its been dropping down into the 50s every night. I opened it up today to find a little surprise.

Well if you said it gets that cold maybe you wanna leave the lid on. Like they started growing under those conditions so might as well just leave it as is.

Yeah.. I would Fan > Mist > Keep the lid off during the day > Put the lid on at night (before it cools, dusk) .. you will have some slow growing, but dense & nice fatties :thumbup:
