soaking grains... hazelnut falvored coffee ok?!

so i'm soaking some grains.  Only coffee I have on hand to add to the soak is some artificially flavored hazelnut coffee.  Would this work the same as, say, folgers?  or would i be better off just not using it?

I think it'd be best if artificial flavors weren't used for anything.

But being that flavored coffee is so common, and threads on this specific topic aren't, I bet it's often used in successful grows, and the flavor is just an oversight.  Why not do some jars with and without and share the comparisons?

Coffee is suggested for RGS, but I'm not sure how it works with other grains. I'm actually running a coffee experiment for coffee soaked grains at the moment. I do believe that coffee enriched grains are more prone to contam, however.

I don't think flavor will have any impact.

I have observed no increase in contamination in coffee soaked grains in fact in my experience I've gotten less because of the decrease in colonization time. I also agree with RR you should experience no adverse problems with the flavoring.
