He doesn't smoke it now because my mom won't allow it + he gets drug tested at his job, but back when he was younger, fuck yeah he was a total stoner. We joke all the time about how it has fried his brain because we'll catch him standing there staring off into the distance with a puzzled look on his face

damn thats a lot of work. this post might make my method seem like a lot of work but i got really descriptive with it. its actually as easy as pushing a button on the AC control panel.

this worked (still works when i visit [since she doesnt want me smoking inside] ) when i lived with my mom:

step 1: make sure your door makes a good seal from the rest of the house. the easy way to do this is to cover up the air intake to the air conditioning/heating system and turn on the AC/heat. when it starts pumping air into your room with the door closed it should push the door slightly more closed.

this tells you that your room is building pressure because the air is being forced in but the air intake cant remove it. (use a piece of paper and some tape to cover the intake) you can even put a towl undr your door if you want, i didnt have to because the carpet was thick enough that it sealed up against the bottom of the door

step 2: crack ONE window about 3 inches. when the AC/heat is on, the pressure in your room will be looking for a way to escape. it will force air out of the cracked window with quite a bit of force. all the pressure in your room (which is considerable) will be forced to go out of a relatively small crack.

the best way to ensure that this is working well is to get a lighter, light it AWAY from the window (the air should be rushing out quick enough that you wont be able to light it right next to the window) and then move the lit lighter towards the crack. the flame will bend towards the crack. move the lighter around the crack to see just how far from the crack the air flow gets quicker, so you know how close to be to the window (it should be fine within about 1 to 1.5 feet of the cracked window)

step 3: smoke near the window with no fear. i smoked bowl after bowl in my room (and even cigarettes/joints!) and there is absolutely zero smell. as long as you blow your hit out near the window, and towards the window, every single molecule of smoke will get forced outside. you dont have to fear the wind blowing it back in either. after you light your bowl or cigarette, make sure you hold it close to the window as well so the smoke coming off of it gets pushed out as well.

once you have the air intake in your room covered, the only thing you have to do to be able to smoke in there safely is manually turn on the AC (which means pushing one button) and if you choose to use a towel under your door, throw a towel down. its easy as pie.

i made a picture in paint for you. the green arrows are air flow into the room. the red arrows are air flow out of the room. the grey boxes are the air intake and bottom of the door after being sealed. the box with the blue line is an opened window.

But from the experiments and studies that have been done (By MAPS) it turns out joints are the cleanest and healthiest form of smoking next to a vaporizer of course...And depending on how clean the papers are.


Everyone seems to think bongs are great at filtering the smoke, which they do. But they're not nearly as efficient at filtering as people think they are. They do catch some tars, cool the smoke, and they do catch some of the oils from the lighter flame (a factor a lot of people don't think of)...But when it comes down to it, bongs are putting a shit load of smoke into your lungs at once. They deliver very dense hits and large amounts of smoke (tars). The studies listed water pipes as some of the least healthiest ways to smoke....


I've even heard of a handful of dispensaries recommending joints as the healthiest forms of "smoking"...

I don't bother making ghetto plastic bongs anymore because I have plenty  of glass, but when I was in Junior high, the very first bong I ever made was out of a terrarium I had that used to have some carnivorous plants in it.
