Heart Attack Burgers

I've been browsing this section now for the past hour or so, and its been making me drool something fierce. I figured I'd try and return the favor with something I think is lacking around here, and that's fat, and lots of it!
Here's what your gonna need if your the type who can enjoy some serious chest pain halfway through your meal:
1 lb 80/20 ground beef(85/15 works as well, but I am not to fond of anything leaner than that. Just personal preference though, so use whatever beef you find preferable.) 2 Slices of Texas Toast or your bread of choice, since the bread really isn't the main idea here. 6 slices of some tasty thick ass bacon Sliced onion, I normally use about 1/4 or so of a medium to large onion 1 large egg 1 slice each of Pepper Jack and Cheddar cheeses Mayo, and lots of it
Shape your beef up into one nice patty, toss it into a frying pan and cook that shit up nice and slowly, always tastier that way.
While the burger is cooking, make that bacon.
After the burger is pretty close to done start frying up your onion in some butter and olive oil, or just recycle some of that excess grease the beef is producing. Do the same with the egg, make sure to keep the yolk intact and runny.
When your burger is good to eat, and the bacon, egg and onions are good to go, start toasting your bread. Well the bread is toasting away, throw both slices of cheese on the burger. Cover the burger and toss some water in there to get the cheese all nice and melty.
Once your bread is good to go apply a liberal amount of mayonnaise to the bottom slice. Then stack everything on there, my preferred order is onions, half of the bacon, burger, more bacon, egg and your ready to eat.
Been making these for the past few years, and they never cease to be absolutely amazing. However, they are not as filling as you would expect so fries or some other type of side might be needed depending on your appetite. Happy eating to you all!

Ha theres a place in Atlanta called the Vortex that has something similar. They replace each piece of bun with a grilled cheese sandwich, it has a fried egg and bacon on it. Possibly other stuff, honestly Ive never even considered ordering it.

I love a fried egg on my sandwich. The yolk just coats everything and makes it delicious.
Be careful though. Last time I had one of these I "popped" the yolk on the first bite and it splooged all over my shirt and pants. Quite embarrassing at a work lunch, and impossible to get out with just a napkin

That can happen from time to time, so I will usually just pop the yolk with the top piece of bread.
