Seen this much blue before?
    #11230798 - 10/12/09 02:25 AM (8 years, 1 month ago)

Has anyone ever seen this much blueing on cakes & mushrooms before?

Also, all of the pins on the top were formed about halfway through the growth of the lower mushrooms but then they all aborted. Do you think this is because of the cake not having enough water to supply both groups ?

Sure have. They abort because of water/fae and a fight for nutrients/space. Looks like a perfect yield for a cake though. Good job

They don't looks INCREDIBLY dry, they look happy. But more misting and FAE is always a plus.

Definitely low on moisture, light misting might help you.

They are misted 2-3x daily and fanned even more frequently. All of those pins are already aborted.

The strain is Treasure Coast.

Well you have plenty of healthy fruits, and aborts are potent as hell per weight. Everything looks fine to me. A little bruising on the cakes but overall a great grow

is the sprayer youre using, not "misting"
it looks like youre shooting the tops of your cakes with a fire hose

no. just askin if youre spraying them a bit too hard.

my sprayer "mists" if there were ANY breeze when im misting, none of it would make it into the FC because the mist is so fine
