Or neither, I'm still a noob:

Habitat:
Alder/conifer debris and leaf litter, Seattle area.

Cap: Striated, brownish with yellow umbo fading to grey as drying. Appears very thin but uniform (i.e. not deliquescing from edges)

Gills:
Light brown to dark chocolate brown, appears adnexed

Stem:
Flexuose

Cap:
Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.

Spore print color: Dark purplish brown to black (correct me if I'm wrong, see pic)

How can you tell? The deep striation or the cap deliquescence? Thanks

The deep striation and the cap deliquescence and color, lots of yellow in your cap and the center of the cap, how the striations end abruptly and leave that central area looking raised, no fibrils on the stem.
