In vitro pinning?

Is that what I'm looking at here? It's not 100% colonized and sits in the dark. I'm guessing just wait it out? That seems to be the answer for just about everything.
edit: I see a couple threads down this has already been answered. Mods can delete this. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/11227942
-------------------- Did he dream about dragons? Did he dream about deer? Did he whisper he names of friends who were near? What songs did they play, and how far away? Why did he whisper, why did she scream? What does the sound of a screen door mean? Who talks on the hill? Who goes to the cellar, can you feel the chill? Where does the river, when will the wind? How far are the mountains? Where do they end? Why would the church? Did the service begin? Tell me who died, and tell me who cried. Help me hide in the skin of a deer, my zippered-up bag in the mouth of a stag so swiftly I go through rows of does, it flows, it flows, it flows, it flows all over the hill where the green grass grows.

The cake is definitely pinning now. You need to birth the cake as soon as possible if not fully colonized.

LOL, yep that's me. I have not started a topic for this but it is my first time growing and I have been getting a lot of pins in my jars. It was not a problem for me, the jars with a lot of pins before birth both gave good first flushes.

Don't birth the cake if it is not fully colonized yet, that could be a potentially serious contamination risk. Wait for it to colonize fully, and then birth and do the dunk. Roll the cake only if it hasn't started fruiting yet. Just roll it very gently or sprinkle the dry vermiculite onto it and you should be fine.
