Fucked up right now so I don't feel like typing much.
But recently found out a friend is growing. Yesterday I got a call from him, and he was obviously very intoxicated. I asked him wtf he was on, and he said nothing. He didnt smoke, drink, or take anything. He said "THC absorbs through the skin".
WTF is this? I've never heard anything like this. Weed is not acid.
Im relatively new to pot, only been smoking a few years. (2-3) I have never grown. But This HAS to be a lie.

Im always stoned when I trim buds(from smoking, not transdermal absorption) , but it sounds like a placebo effect. Maybe some cannabinoids are active in the plant material as is, but as far as I know THC needs heat to be converted to its active form....

Yeah that's what I thought.
Don't understand why he's doing this though. He's a pretty respectable, serious, intellegent guy. He's not the type to make up bullshit.

THC can absorb into the oil on your epidermis.
But that's it. And if anything, it's only trace amounts.

tons of bud went through my hand when harvesting/pruning some pot plants of a friend.
i got soo high, was hard to concentrate on the real work.
and i never heard of it before, so it couldn't have been a placebo

i call placebo.
although my friend was cooking bud oil and used his hands to massage the buds said (and looked) he got high.

My friend says she got really high from cooking weed brownies once. She cooked them for a party, and by the time the party started she didn't even end up eating a brownie, said she was high as fuck, and walked right to bed and passed the fuck out.
