Still, defend your POV.
Not everybody goes to doctors. There is a large sector of folks who get herbal treatments from their local healthfood stores and self medicate. These folks who self medicate for other things should be able to get their cannabis at the herb counter as well. It is a PLANT, a cure all with many health benefits. Why do you want to restrict it's use to people that use the flawed health system?

Like someone said.....if your not a dumbass with your drug use, you dont need to worry about the law. And if you move to cali, worst case senerio is a $50-100 ticket
Then you can use your cannabis, and also have a source of income for millions of good hardworking people, and out of the hands of the federal government

I dont think it should be something elite and hidden away. I think it should be undemonized and given to the mass of overstressed, depressed, anxiety-ridden drones with control issues to mellow them out. People who are slaves and victims to their own lives. Havent you ever met someone and thought "goddamn, that person needs a fucking joint"?

The benefits of blackmarket economy are far outweighed by the harms and pitfalls of that market being illegal.
If it is legal not everyone is going to buy it through government taxed shops. Some are going to buy off their friend who grows or grow it themselves. Assuming that growing would be legal as well; since while tobacco is taxed it is not illegal to grow it on your farm.

Cause I would think a dumbass wouldn't worry about the consequences of breaking the law.
What if somebody was buying weed and had to drive back home, and on the way back he gets pulled over?
but the weed is so dank, the cop could smell it before he got out of his car? If the cop smells it, that is probable cause.
How has keeping weed illegal, helped your town? Do you even really believe what you are saying? If so, care to explain why?

Weed is a front page issue on the paper every week here Honestly guys.....its just a thought. And seeing how I dont smoke weed anymore, its easy to state a claim/idea that doesnt directly influence my life anymore.

Can you explain where you are and why it is helping the town? That part still confuses me.

So you want people to leave their homes to move there so as not to fear getting penalised?

If these stoners claim to love their cannabis as much as they claim....then it wont be an issue.
And yes I live in the Triangle, weed money pumps through our economy like crazy

Corralling all the stoners into a glorified funnyfarm of a state is not the way. Folks should be able to live wherever they want in the nation and still appreciate the same rights.

Apparently I keep it a little too real for some in this forum
Please explain your reasons so people can agree and disagree instead of flaming.

That's the most backwards ass thing I think I've read in a long time. You say you hope it stays illegal for non medical patients, then advise us to go somewhere where it's practically legal and soon will be. You make as much sense as a politician.

Another example of "broken window fallacy"
We should work on obtaining the right to grow plants period!! Not just sweet mary.
If they continue to ban life and nature we will have what is known as a ceasarian list. Whereby if it isn't explicitly allowed by law i.e. plants then it is illegal.

Having Marijuana be illegal helps my new town in allot of ways. Please join me in a silent prayer for Marijuana to stay illegal forever
I had some respect for you before this post. Now I see you as nothing more than a fucking cop that needs to be put down
