awesome!  i've been working on ideas for a tattoo of my own for ages.  i keep changing my plans.  i've settled on a location for sure though: my left forearm.  i want it to go from my elbow to about 1.5-2" above my wrist (so it can be hidden with long sleeves).  and i want it to wrap around.  color on the bottom, black ink on the top.

i had a bit of an idea today that i might expand upon and see if i can make it work on paper.  i was thinking i could have a large black ink "walking eye" from the venture brothers battling the full-colored Robot Devil from futurama.  i'd have a thin curved line on both the inside and outside of my forearm, separating the full-colored and the black ink sections.  i was thinking of a molecular background (most likely some illicit substance) interwoven between the walking eye's legs and crossing the black/colored border.  and some other sort of background, possible gears, doing the same closer to my elbow.  i'm going for a full collage feel.  and i know the molecule thing has been played out, but that's why i'm simply considering it as background material to fill in space, rather than the actual subject.  and i'm more interested in having badass, exciting art rather than chronicling something important to me that i'd have to explain the meaning of.

but like i said, i'm still playing with designs.  so it's entirely likely that this won't happen.  but the images i have in my head are rather exciting, so who knows.
