Mushrooms in woods

i was coming out of the woods tonight and i found a few GIANT mushrooms which led to a small grouping of a lot of smaller mushrooms(looked like psychedelic mushrooms my friend grew them before looked like his)  and it just finished raining about 15-20 hours ago (rained for like 2 days) I'm in Connecticut (Cromwell) is it even possible for Psychedelic mushrooms to grow here
if so ill post picture tomorrow

yes it is possible but from your description it is -impossible- to ID what you found.

post habitat shots including the mushrooms and close up macro shots as well.
