This forum is not the place to debate ethics.
Mushroom Cultivation's purpose is to help those who wish to understand the basics of cultivating mushrooms.
With a special emphasis given to p.cub, because it is one of the easiest mushrooms to cultivate.

ill tell you what it means it's a worthless post to a thread he deems unfit for mushroom cultivation yet with his mod/tc status doesnt lock the thread and actually just bumps it up if he was so concerned about this cultivation forum he would post more in here, instead of just having people like doc and feel answer peoples questions whats the point of mod and tc status if you arent going to post in here more then 2 times max in a day or add useful commentary the people who actually deserve tc/mod should be the people who answer questions in here regularly with good answers
go ahead and lock it i dont care, but i thought at least some other people might think this was interesting

I was going to lock it, but figured that I would leave it open for a while to see what other members think.

You shouldnt do it.
The reason being is that YOU feel it COULD be unethical or environmentally unfriendly..... IF there is that doubt, where you want to check with us..........
Then, IF the shrooms will grow outdoors with minimal assistance in your climate..... and if you think they will come back year after year..............
You shouldnt do it.

Set them free!!
And my opinion is that instead of locking threads like this, why not help the O.P. in his question, ie, how to go about it and what they need to make it.
And you mods do stress ethics in here if you remember George. You lock all threads for talking about dealing, using Human feces, and flaming. So you say this is no place for ethics, then what would you call that?

Dealing isnt an ethical question so far as this forum is concerned.
Human feces is kinda sick, and probably a troll. Who would do that? LOCK PLEASE!
And flaming..... seriously?
Now, I am partial to a good flamefest..... but it -is- immature and I am glad we have mods to crack the whip sometimes.
He didnt lock the thread yet...... so...............
Probably could lock it now tho, plenty off topic and I get the "best answer award" in this thread anyway.

Dealing or any other illegal activity is against board policy.
Flaming is against this forum's guidelines.
Using human feces is just plain bad cult advice and not even worth discussing.
I would be happy to explain any more mod or policy questions via pm.
This thread is about the introduction of non-indigenous mushrooms to a region and the possible ethical questions involved. If you cannot post on this topic, please do not post in this thread.

I know of no non-parasitic mushroom mycelium that is 'invasive', meaning that it replaces natural fungi or other organisms.
The species in question generally breaks down animal manure, so I don't see how it could even become invasive or 'unethical' to introduce.

I was told by a spore dealer that

Approximately 10% of Florida material that I've examined are Panaeolus cambos, but there are other species in the Florida that I have yet to observe.
Also some peoples vaginas secrete sand so it always in their panties.

I am not wearing any panties.
As far as introducing a new mushrooms to a region makes me want to ask the question;
Is their any mush myc that is not beneficial to the environment that it inhabits?
"And"
Is there really any conclusive proof of this?
