    #11223160 - 10/10/09 08:38 PM (14 years, 5 months ago)

PLEASE ZOOM ON PICS (I know that's self-explanatory...but I only have use of my cell phone cam...it's on 2 mega pixel setting, but the only way it's even HALF decent is zoomed in).

Habitat:
On a log, Maine

Gills:
Light orange

Stem:
light orange, almost same as gills, thin, 1 inch

Cap:
one inch, convex, darker orange (one is older and curling up...turning concave/"broken-umbrella")

Spore print color:
Burnt orange :

Bruising:
None, yet (one removed from log is just drying a little darker)

Other information:

if the wall behind it is in focus theres no reason you couldnt back up a few inches so its in focus
closeness isnt always as important as quality.

Burnt orange, the pink in the picture throws it off for some reason...in real life it's burnt orange.

so far ide say its not a Gymnopilus sp
if he gets better (in focus!) pictures, I might be able to ID it.
