I read on this sight that pscilcybin cinctulus shrooms grow where i live(massachusetts) and my area has alotttt of farms. so its supposed to rain a little tonight and me and my other friend(also inexperienced) are going to walk to the farm down the road the next morning and look in the compost bins, around where the cows and horses take there shit, in there stalls, anywhere we think there might be, and put em in a ziploc baggie. Think we will get anything at all? PS: we aren't going to eat anything without confirming it with the shroomery. thanks everyone!

By the way, is it only horse shit that helps grow shrooms? or does cows, goats, etc. too? thanks!

yea you have a good chance in finding cinctulus, may i reccomend putting them into a brown paper lunch bag, not a ziploc plastic, ziploc will cause wet mushrooms to turn to mush almost immediately, you need to allow them mushrooms to breath.

It is likely too late for MA, but it couldn't hurt to check out.

the only advice i can continue to give you, based on the fact that there are no direct questions as the issue, i can give you this link, which will tell you what actives are in your area, http://www.shroomery.org/8461/Which-psilocybin-mushrooms-grow-wild-in-my-area ; If you are searching a field like area with no wood, then you will more than likely ONLY find Panaelous cinctulus.  They grow very commonly in fields, and well fertilized lawns. If you have access to cow pies, then your chances of finding cinctulus greaty increase.  Unless you can specify a question, thats all i can tell you.
