The illusion of ownership of land. After some deep reflection I have decided that the difference between the European ideal of "this bit of land is MINE" and the more "native" idea of "this is everyone's forest" is the greatest division that has led us down this road that will only end in destruction of modern man.

You should check out Ishmael, by Daniel Quinn.
The conclusions he draws based upon the differences between the two lifestyles are pretty interesting.

i don't feel i'm in any way qualified to remodel society.

i kinda really dislike capitalism, due to the immense greed and social inequality that results.  but competition breeds betterment.  the strong survive and what have you.  technological advancements are often direct results of such competition, so i don't think i could say that society would be better without capitalism.

how densely populated is this society?  that has a huge impact on the societal options available.  what level of technology?  modern technology is a double edged sword in that it makes life easier, and i love it to death.  but ultimately, it's unnecessary for basic human life, and in some respects even detrimental.

there are just too many thoughts going through my head.  wayyyy too many factors and possibilities.  i'm tired and having trouble categorizing them.  i don't think i can really answer this question.

might as well be a society of robots.  where's the free will?  where's the human impetus?  what a boring existence.  everyone would be exactly the same, as everyone would be making the most extremely logical decisions.  sex would be awful.  drugs would be nonexistent.  music would be nonexistent.  art, literature, individuality - all history.

man.. fuck that world.

I believe we are like a planets blood cells, we are ment to do what we are ment to do, we can not perceive beyond our little world or blood stream and we do not know everything we don't really know whats best for us. I'd trust my life to a all knowing entity. The blood cells are in no position to make decisions made for a bodys mind. Noone wants to admit they are not as all knowing as they think they are. Unity will never be achieved until everyone works together. Besides how many people really use the full potential of freedom? hardly an one appreciates it.

i never claimed to be all knowing.  just because i don't always make decisions best for myself, mankind or the earth doesn't mean i want to give up my free will and ability to enjoy life.

thats true, I believe everyone should have a certain amount of freedom. But lets say the body gets a bad disease, doctors usually cut off  that section of the body so save the rest. if that were the case for mankind, I'd support cutting off that arm. thats all I saying. People should be free do go in whatever direction they want in life, but I do not believe people should be free to waste their lives.

I believe in semi freedom then. I believe we should be free to do anything that will aid mankind in some direct or indirect way shape or form.

Anything done to worsen the human condition is a waste of life.

and where is the line drawn in the determination of wasted life?  that seems awfully subjective to me.  what one might consider a wasted life, another may consider an enlightened path.

spirituality would for sure have to become a factor in the decision.

what?? where does spirituality fall into your society of cold, hard logic?  those are completely contradictory.

Spirituality helps people cope and understand this reality, it provides answers where question marks are, and therefor alleviate stress on ones body mind and soul throughout the years, ultimately allowing a person to live longer and with better health which is beneficial to any community.

I wouldn't change anything in the sense that I wouldnt just import and try to change any of our current models of government. I'd start from the ground up with the wisest people involved building it axiomatically.

I'd take a machine that mass produced vaginas and I'd fill the new planet with cunts so that it reminded me of earth.
