It's an Amanita, but for a better ID more details and clearer images would be needed.

What other details would you need? I took over 10 pictures, but they these are the best of them...

What sort of camera did you use? A mobile phone cam doesn't cut it. Please use a digital camera that has a macro mode. Also, especially with Amanita, it is very important that you carefully dig up the base to check its details as well. Good pictures of cap, gills, stipe and base would be ideal.

Ok I will see what I can do as far as getting those pictures. I am assuming these are not active mushrooms?

I am going to try and take some more pics right now.

No. At least not in the psilocybian sense. I know some people like to get high off of A. muscaria, but I generally do not mess with Amanita, not even with the intoxicating or edible ones.

Much better. You have a classic example of a. amerimuscaria.

Ok thanks! I'm looking around the shroomery now on these and it seems like some people say they are edible, and in high doses will cause you to trip... any truth to this?

There's a lot of good info on amanitas available on e.g. erowid. Do some thorough research before you think about experimenting with these.
