Is bulk sub ok? or getting ruined? (pics)

My buddy Homer spawned 2 brf cakes to this tray 8 days ago. It seems to be colonizing, but it also seems awfully wet in there. He took the foil off the top to check on it while he had a makeshift glove box set up. You can see it looks like a dewy morning in there, and theres a couple of little pubbles. They look brown from reflecting the cardboard color.
Its an organic manure / compost & verm mix for the sub.
Is this OK? or is it getting ruined? Is there anything Homer should do for it right now?
This is my buddies first grow, and he'd be super psyched if this worked out.

I would say it's ok. Drops inside the tray are just condensation. But I am no expert so wait for another reply. GL

Looking good
You can use a paper towel to dab those spots and get rid of the yellow stuff.

To fruit it, should the tray just go into a shotgun FC?
Should I attempt to case it with anything?
My FC is full of cakes, but I could make a 2nd one fairly easily. This tray was a side project along with the PF tek, but I'm glad I did it. If it works out, it seems like a much better strategy for yields.

nah.. just make it a DUB TUB put another tub on top upside down then drill a few holes at substrait level and a few higher up, fill em with pollyfill and let it be..

also put something opaque along the side to prevent side pinning. people have alot of sucess with dub tubs.

So no casing?
And when I drill holes for poly-fil, will they all go onto the second container, some at the top and some as low as I can get them?
like so?
And some of the growth in the tray looks really wispy, not like the myc I'm used to seeing in my jars. It's not greyish tho, should I be concerned about cobweb?

You want the bottom holes as close to the top of your sub as possible to allow the CO2 to roll out, thus sucking fresh O2 in the top holes. If your bottom holes are to high up your shrooms will "drown" in the built up CO2
