I'm not sure I understand this thread,
what is this restoration you speak of?

I am not sure I understand either. All natural materials are substrates to one fungus or another. I can see how picking up litter and other trash could be a good thing, but cleaning a habitat of wooden logs, etc?
Care to elaborate?

I certainly didn't intend to confuse the readers.I actually got the idea from reading Paul Stamets Mycelium Running. Chapter 6 Mycoforestry.
recycled wood debris helps the forest recover.Fig 76(PIC)
Now as I mentioned and shown a Pic of piles of rotting timber, I have been distributing the wood matter around the areas as shown.
I believe this will be very beneficial as here in Australia and this type of location fungi thrive around fallen and rotting logs.
These areas Ive been working on have not produced for a while so this will be a ideal test to see how it goes.
I hope this clears the mind!

Ah, ok! That explains it better. So what you meant was to say that you spread and scattered the wood. I was of the impression that you cleaned the place of wooden debris at first.
