Haven't had any alcohol tonight. Nor any caffeine since about 12 hours ago (~700 mg in 8 fluid ounces).
Just me, my weed, my tobaccy, and a book from which I'm trying to sort some primo wheat from some rather virulent chaff.

Damn, I missed 420 too
I've been thinking about making a sort of super-dip. Crush some betel nuts to a relatively fine consistency, pulverize some syrian rue seeds, mix them into a tobacco base (not sure whether dip or chewing tobacco would work better) and mix in some mukhwas for flavor. Betel+tobacco+a small sublingual harmine/harmaline dose sounds like a good thing. Throw in some datura leaf and things could get a little spooky!

I fell asleep in the pub last night. Eating and being twisted drunk makes me fall asleep. Allergic to yeast, witchcraft happens.
2 packs of pringles,15 minutes later out like a light. Everyone had a right ol' larph.
I then went home and asked my mother,
"Where is that thing that keeps the cat asleep?"
her:"What are you talking about?"
"You know what I mean. Nostradamus".
her: "!?!??!?!?!!?!?!??!?!?!?!"
"Come on,you know what I mean!"
her:"What are you on?"
"Remember,I had some food stuff earlier".
her:"Oh,you have something sitting in the microwave".
"YES,THAT'S IT!"
It turns out all I was asking for was where was my burger
Three cheers for nonsensical delusional drunk.
Going for a small pick today. Nothing about so far except a few I found in someones front lawn.

I haven't decided yet. I'll definitely direct people to good references for hunting and cultivation, but they might be subjects that are a bit too large to fit into the monograph on psilocybian mushrooms.
Since I've been re-reading and delving into the whole "soma/haoma" thing, I've also pretty much determined that I'll need a separate monograph just to discuss it, since it's associated with several plants by different people (Amanita muscaria, Peganum harmala, and Ephedra spp. being the three major players in the discussion)

I don't know, I haven't found myself on perfectly comfortable terms with Salvia... terrible pins & needles, mostly.
With datura, small amounts counteract nausea, so you could probably take larger doses of the betel (arecoline and related alkaloids) and the nicotine. And if you happened to absorb a larger dose of the datura (or it acts more potently via the rue), at least you absorb it gradually and have the other chemicals to conduct you into the strangeness.

yeah you are. you've posted in like every thread on the front page several times.
my netbook is a slightly older model. came out 2 years ago or so. i got it on clearance online for $210 shipped. acer aspire one a150l. i'm rather satisfied with it for my needs. i don't have a 3g account, can't afford it, so i just use wifi. it's basically an ultra-portable, super slimmed down laptop without an optical drive. as a travel companion, i'm quite please with it, even though it is virtually a dinosaur compared to the stuff they've got coming out now. but it does what i need and then some.
the new generation coming out has some special graphics processor (nVidia ion i think it's called) that allows for true HD movies, which you can't really notice on the tiny screen, but allows for connection to a large HD monitor for true HD performance. as well as light gaming, from what i've read. if you can wait to buy, i absolutely would. within a year, those graphics capabilities will be standard in all netbooks, and the processors will probably be a step further as well.

yeah but its good that there is a place like this now. Im willing o bet that in 2 years or so when the legalize it federally that to sell it or grow it youd have to take a class at oaks, That way theres an educational process with it. Its a good idea because afer 70+ years of prohibition, thers to uch mis info floating about.

Id say state wide regulation in 1-5 years and federal in 15-20
We in cali are the test state. It has to happen here first, and if it works and they see how much money can be made, states will legalize pot in a slide going from west to east. once the majority is for it, we'll be able to pass a federal law.
The progress made in the last 3 years is amazing.

i hope the federal comes a lot quicker than that. considering how many states have legalized medicinal marijuana, and how quickly state governments would be willing to jump on the money making band wagon (once Cali shows everyone what's up) since the fed can't do SHIT for the economy, it may happen sooner than later.

Its funny though, i remember in economics class the teacher talked about situation exactly like this where he said that that was one of the great things about our system of seperate states. They can test policy in one state, to gauge it potential impact nationwide.

I think I was in a condition where every word that came out of my mouth might as well of been equivalent in meaning to each other if that makes sense.
Like coming out with "Where's that thing that puts the cat to sleep?" instead of "Where is my burger?"
I said it to a buddy and he said in my own head,I was the cat and I was speaking in the 3rd person.
Food puts me to sleep when I'm langers so I that's what I(the cat) was looking for!
Edit:Unborn,I know what you mean.
Last serious mushroom trip I was far gone. Every utterance people came out with,in my head felt like blasts of euphoria hitting me all over.
I couldn't even understand what they were saying but I saw smiles on their faces and once words came out of their mouths I was so happy.
