Organic Potting Mix for Bulk Substrate?

Hello. I lurk in the shadows of Shroomery. I have something to say who someone might not mind hearing.
For this evening I've been reading about organic bulk substrates, after having realized that I might be able to use organic potting mix instead of dung for my own bulk substrate. I am exhausted, must sleep, so I leave this to stimulate discussion, new or old:
I bought this orginally as a casing ingredient. I noticed that it was "organic", read the back, and thought it might be nice to try it in case someone else hadn't. It seems people have tried similar products. This "All Purpose Potting Mix" is made by Schultz
Here are a few snippits of info from the bag:
Ingredients: "This potting soil is formulated regionally from Canadian sphagnum peat moss, organic materials (derived from one of the following: reed-sedge peat or composted pine bark), horticultural perlite, and organic wetting agent, and lime for proper pH balance. This product may vary from region to region."
"0.06 - 0.09 - 0.06" "NO Synthetic Chemicals!" "Organic Materials Review Institute; approved" "Contains no yard waste or commodity fillers." "High microbe content" "not only good for plants, but it also feed microorganisms that help improve soil structure." "our OMRI-listed wetting agent is a natural extract of the yucca that increases water penetration and uptake, improves drainage, stimulates growth and increases yield." "www.garden-safe.com" "Guaranteed Minimum Analysis: Total Nitrogen (N) ... 0.06% Available Phosphate (P205) ... 0.09% Soluble Potash (K20) ... 0.06%
I will read more later, for now is a topic of discusion for those who might enjoying thinking about this.

unfortunately your new product will probably best be used in 'another' garden you'll find organic potting mix is very slow colonizing (at least w/ B+ when i tried) the only WORSE substrate i've found is worm castings.... as for a casing layer don't even try it as potting soil has nutritive makeup that will probably draw contamination........

I have discarded the idea and will seek to find coco brick for my casing material, and stick with dung as originally intended.
Thanks!
*edit*
I have read more regarding usage of Scotts 3in1 and Scultz potting soil plus. Some people have had positive results, based on no absolute failure I plan to keep my organic potting soil for experimentation. I will post results if notable, success or failure. :]

I have a mountain of speant potting soil in my backyard. Potting soil is usually 70% coire (a non nutritive substrate) i usually add some straw or compost to beef it back up but i use it regularly with great results.
