cubenis question
    #11216127 - 10/09/09 05:17 PM (8 years, 7 months ago)

so i'm new to mushroom hunting. i've been looking in fields. after a recent rain i've seen some pins. a couple are turning out to look like some i've seen on old hay bales, they have black gills but a hollow stem and no bruising. the other pins are appearing to be cubes. they are golden on top. so i guess my question is are all cubes that are naturally grown have stems as fat as the ones you see ppl have grown indoors? also, do certain cow feeds stop the grow of magic mushrooms? i've only seen 3 patties with pins.

The fungicide they put on feed is to keep mold from forming on the grains prior to consumption.. The fungicide will not stop the growth of mushrooms!

Just because a field has cows does not necessarily mean that field will produce Mushrooms... Thats why its called Hunting and not Finding!
