New to this but enough information for ident?

Habitat: long grass in a meadow by a river

Gills: Gills Dark brown hint of grey

Stem: 8-10 cm, brown very straight seems hollow hard to break, 3-4 mm thick on the largest example

Cap: 2.5cm on the largest example, dark brown when wet, drying lighter in photograph

Spore print color: Very Dark brown with a vague hint of purple

Bruising: No bruising changes noticeable

Other information: south west england, rain over the last few days interspersed with dry weather

Sounds like a panaeolus species. A picture would certainly help!

Looks close to Panaeolus papilionaceus.

In your area you should be looking for Psilocybe semilanceata.

I was hoping it was p.Semi, it has a nipple but seems very large compared to pictures I've seen
