lol

that's just an absurd statement

there's no denying that he is one of the best songwriters in history - regardless of what your opinion of him is.

he was also an immensely interesting person.

Jesus Christ was that really necessary?

Lennon ruined music.

And I won't be discussing it anymore because I have better things to do than wait for this thread to load every time I wanna see it.

My favorite beatle is mccartney, I never really liked lennon that much and I think he abused too many drugs.

You're insane.

George Harrison is one of the greatest musicians ever

Beatles saved music, we'd still be listening to fucking gospel bebop I'm sure.

Ringo's really the only one I don't care for, his new persona is just kind of tacky and annoying. Always wearing sunglasses throwing out the peace sign, it's odd.

Which would be better than pop music now.

It really is a valid argument but one people can't seem to grasp. I don't necessarily prescribe to it, but it's more interesting than speaking my general apathy towards the Beatles and Lennon.

Not a valid argument at all, same shit can be said about Kurt Cobain. Pop music's been around since before the Beatles, and will always be around. I think it's called rap in today's world. Beatles were MUCH MUCH more then pop musicians, at least past 1965 anyway.
