How was the movie. Ive heard mix things? I feel im a pretty class orientated guy. Does it look at other economic theories? Or does it just focus on the rich getting richer every year?
Sorry I just dont want to shell out 12 bucks to see stuff I've been reading for years.

Micheal moore uses very distateful manipulation of the people he puts in his documentaries, he edits and splices audio to frame things to how ever he wants. Micheal Moore is feeding the "sheeple" misinformation through HALF-truths and the spoon fed masses will never research any of the points any further.
needless to say his views arn't always wrong, he makes points from time to time.
-------------------- “By calling attention to ‘a well regulated militia’, the ’security’ of the nation, and the right of each citizen ‘to keep and bear arms’, our founding fathers recognized the essentially civilian nature of our economy. Although it is extremely unlikely that the fears of governmental tyranny which gave rise to the Second Amendment will ever be a major danger to our nation, the Amendment still remains an important declaration of our basic civilian-military relationships, in which every citizen must be ready to participate in the defense of his country. For that reason, I believe the Second Amendment will always be important.” John F. Kennedy, April 1960

You like refering to people as sheeple and you've opted out of ratings? Sounds like you think you're better than everyone, and on top of that you can't take personal criticism. I'll be sure and add you to the official opt out ignore list if you're not already on it.

Its a powerful film even tho its anecdotal and is not trying to make intellectually valid arguments. His movies center around moralistic themes, and when you watch them with an open mind you can usually step back and see hes pointing out something really fucked up and deeply personal to him.
He hasnt said end capitalism. There is a wide degree of education/stupidity in this country and i think the thesis of the movie appeared when the pilot that landed the plane in the hudson saving 100's of people went before the senate. Moore shows the pilot testifying and he starts saying things like "pilots wouldnt want their kids to follow in their foot steps.." ( because they make shit $ and are responsible for so much and so highly trained.) but as he continued preaching to a panel that was in basically an empty room, Moore dubbed over his voice with Stars and Stripes Forever.
Its like, when ever someone says "black man" just scream racist and nothing they say matters. Its the same thing with most in this USA that when someone starts saying something critical of the system, you can just blast them with "patriotism" propaganda and not listen or try to argue without fallacy.
Go ahead, "moore sucks" and all that, just tell me how exactly he isn't making a provocative argument? Facts aside, i know when something is wrong, and you arn't going to convince me hes a bad guy for attacking Big business, big banks, lobbies etc. I dont care if he presented it in a way thats disagreeable, he's not wrong in substance.
Also, you cant attack me for supporting him on the grounds that i agree with everything he says. I don't. His ideas are worth hearing out, and im highly accredited in terms of educational background (economics, poli sci, sociology etc.) If you dont think this movie points to a compelling argument against they way america is ran today, then you are either part of the %1 elite class that bought the ticket to the promise land and said fuck everyone else (doubtful) or you are just brainwashed. We're really, super truly fucked right now, and if your worried about a slippery slope argument against public welfare policies, you need to step back and realize the government and big business have broken the law over and over again.
The elite run the system. They can break any law they want and no problem. W. admitted to illegally authorizing wire tapping, Cheney even shot a guy. No charges were pressed.
The FBI says (according to :A Love Story) %80 of defaults were caused by illegal practices by banks. the bank can rob you with little worries. What do you think will happen if you try to rob them?
So i ask again, which is the slippery slope? Moore or the American status quo?

except that in actuality it was caused by government forcing banks to make sub prime loans to people that couldnt afford them, had no down payment and guaranteeing that government would pick up the bad paper, it then took an act of congress for that to happen, now the banks have the money, the deeds to homes and they're reselling them for more than market value
so the banks are robbing us with the assistance of government... again
