Paul Stamets book mentions that this species could be mildly active although no chemical analyses are known to him so I wouldn't discredit this mushroom as being inactive just yet!

I havent yet inski. Been reading other posts on these little guys.Seems there r some others thinking about trying em. Whats the worst that could happen? diarrhea?Dont think they r deadly..But dont anyone get me wrong here...Im not saying anyone out there can safely grind on em with no worries. 4 some reason the effects of poisoning is little known and toxic constituents unknown, but just speaking 4 myself,i might eat a few freshies.Let u know what happens if i do.

I am pretty sure Paul is wrong on that account.

I have heard that the blue Stropharia are eaten in Europe, so they are probably edible and inactive.
