after a little research i'm thinking of trying it
but i have some questions
BBB has some stuff called
"84% Kavalactone paste in 3 gram vials"
what is this? is this an extract?
should i try this stuff first? or should i just try a classical preperation from the root?

i've never posted in ODD 
i thought it was kind of psychedelic 
yeah I guess they are, and from reading 84% seems like the max allowed to be sold - but it's hard to get past the "THIS IS THE BEST BUY IT!" shit, i think i'll order it just to test the waters and if I like it i'll make a larger brew from the vine.

I have been currious about that stuff for awhile, but cant bring myself to pay for it.....

do not get the paste, i drink kava every other day, and ive tried all the products on the market, On the concentrated stuff for some reasion will not get absorbed into the body, Stick with kava powdered root and drink a half gallon of it

and the first times it barely does anything, you must keep drinking on several days for enjoying the full effects. It is a very good recreational imo...

seems like a bit much haha
well now i'm seriously confused - should i just get the vine stuff? why doesnt the extract stuff work like it should?

i read that it has a reverse tolerance - and I'm also taking it more for the anti anxiety effects - just trying to find the best way of going about taking it!

yea the drink done ol way is best imo. just make sure to get a GOOD powdered root.
you could always get the paste and add to add potency??

My little Kava adventure.
I started drinking it for anxiety. Then I bought out the store in bulk, only 1 1/2 pounds ground root. Ordered another pound and consumed. Decided it was very good for social interaction and such. At this point I hadnt felt numbing effects or euphoria. All these batches were loose powder of off white. When stirred in cold water it would stay mostly sediment.
My ship arrived today in the form of dark brown kava. I opened the bag and took a whiff and my nose burned like I sniffed black pepper. So I stirred up my usual three Tbsp in cold water. Unlike the other Ive had this sunk and dissolved almost immediately. By mass I think more of this powder dissolved. As soon as I drank my mouth and throat were numb. And its hot like pepper, I know i repeat but it is a pepper after all.
I believe, and want to spread the message that kava extracts are a senseless destruction of a fine natural product.
Tomorrow im going to sift this honey brown batch. And drink the lumpy chunks. Prolly make a vid and poaster it.
This new thing were falling for is on the DEA's "list of concerning substances". It would be a shame if this awesome plant was marginalized. I think it is a much better alternative to traditional anti-anxiety drugs.
To sum up my experience tonight goes way beyond a mild valium. I feel drunk, like 6 beers deep(empty stomach slam), with good mental clarity and energy.
I also discovred tonight, dark brown kava does not belong in your eye, by way of your dusty finger. Again, the pepper effect. I wonder does the kava plant actually make a pepper?

Personally, I use the extract pills and powdered root that can be purchased online.
