well since other growning ops are not possible were getting the growing itch bad!
what would be a great indoor veggie(s) to grow. we have sunlight in rooms and a 150w HPS???
i had the real miniature tomatoes plants in mind and some sort of mini pepper plant. and wouldn't mind some herbs for teas...

St johns wort grows very well indoors.
We have a chili plant by our front door that grew from the seeds of a chili we bought in a supermarket and Just really liked the taste.
I have rosemary in a pot on the window in the kitchen and a big aloe plant in one of the bathrooms.
Basil and oregano grow well in small pots as does mint.
If you like thai food you can grow Kaffir lime quite easily indoors Ive heard, never got any seeds though so havent tried yet.

I can second this. Any lime tree does all right, but I'm pretty sure you have to have two, as they don't self pollinate and won't produce fruit otherwise.
Correct me if I'm wrong, when I was a kid we had two lime trees for a while, got maybe 30 limes over the course of a year and a half.

Wheatgrass and watercress are very esily grown on a kitchen windowsill,
On the tea front You can grow some very fragrant herbs:
EyeBright (Euphrasia Officinalis) - tea good for clearing the respiritory tract and lungs, its anti-inflammitary
Fenugreek: I have some of these growing in the kitchen as well as the wife dropped seeds all over the floor so I threw them in a plant pot. Tea with Honey or brown suger helps digestion. seeds are good for cooking with
Lemon Balm (melissa Officinalis) helps sleep like chamomile Tea.
Chamomile: Lovley flowers and the tea is very relaxing and helps sleep.
Lavender: smells wonderfull and can make a great tea.

Peppers, as mentionned above, are also a must if you grow indoors (and like spicy stuff)
