Hey guys, New to the site, new to hunting, need help ID-ing these things!!!!!

K guys, I have quite a bit of different species here, and im wanting to eat them already so help me out :P your site is great and thank you for getting me interested in hunting on my 32 acres here in East TN.

Most of these were found under and around dead wood and leaves. i will explain each one under the picture :P If these pictures dont show up in this post they are in order in my gallery so go check em out if all else fails :P




Specimen 1:

Specimen was found growing in moss in the shade.

Cap width-3.2 cm, Stem length-3.8cm

Specimen was found growing in dead leaves and bark on the ground beneath trees.

Cap Width-7.6 cm Stem Length-8.9cm

Specimen 3:

Specimen was found on steep wooded area around dead wood and little moss.

Cap width- 3.2 cm Stem Length- 3.8 cm


Specimen 4:

Specimen was found in moist dead leaves in shaded area. The stems were white before i picked them but turned AWFULLY blue by midday. Caps were dark brown but now have a bluish tint around edges.


Cap Width-6.7 cm Stem length-3.2 cm

Specimen was found under dead, wet leaves in shaded area.


Cap width-3.8cm Stem length- 2.5cm

This specimen was found growing off of a dead branch. i think it was a white pine.


Cap width-1.9 cm Stem Length- 5.1 cm

This specimen was found in dead, wet leaves, the gills were light blue before i picked it, but the top was white. now almost the whole thing is blue.


Cap Width- 7.6 cm Stem Length-2.5 cm
