Habitat:
Border of small pine patch on Moss with clay underneath.
South East USA

Gills:
White, not attached,

Stem:
length 4-6 in, .5 to 1in Diameter. color White, firm and sticky texture, solid, thick.

Cap:
3-6in Diameter, color yellow fade to orange middle, sticky.

Spore print color:
not obtained yet.

Bruising:
none.

I also Think I found one of the those death angels. The tall white ones. Pretty impressive being in the presence of something that can kill you.

I thought they were guessowii. I see now the persicina grow in the southeast and have poor veil and bulb remnants.

I guess My next question is how to prepare these for smoking/ingestion?

Dry them out thoroughly; this will convert a great deal of the ibotenic acid into muscimol through a process called decarboxylation.  Once dried, they can either be made into a tea, smoked, or simply eaten.  Start out small with the dosage, as potency tends to vary a great deal with habitat.  Have fun, and let us know how it goes.

I throw mushrooms in an old computer to dry; they're usually cracker dry in about 72 hours.  You could also use an oven or a fan, shouldn't have to worry about heat as much as with psilocybes.
