Various finds 10-6-09 Any edibles?

1.Habitat:
These were growing on a dead unknown stump and all along the forest bed. Mainly oaks and large birch trees near a small creek.

Gills:
White

Stem:
length was anywhere from 1" to 4", color varied depending on age looked like light beige on healthier sp. and brown and blackish  bruising on the older ones.

Cap:
Anywhere from 1" to 4.5" across, from deep yellow on the young species and rings of a darker brown and beige on the older ones.

Spore print color:
sorry did not take any with me.

Bruising:
May bruise darker shade of brown and black as it matures.




2.Habitat:
These were growing on the forest bed. Mainly oaks and large birch trees near a small creek.

Gills:
Beige to light orange.

Stem:
length was about 2" color was brown.

Cap:
About 1" circumference.

Spore print color:
sorry did not take any with me.

Bruising:
Looks to had some black bruises.

Other info:
These were the only two I seen.

rusty brown

Stem:
maybe 2" in length 3/8" wide. Dark rusty brown in color.

Cap:
About 2 1/2" across

Spore print color:
sorry did not take any with me.

Bruising:
did not notice any.

Other info:
Growing alone, no others around.

Gills:
White

Stem:
Length about 1" and 3/4" wide, white in color

Cap:
About 7" across

Spore print color:
sorry did not take any with me.

Bruising:
did not notice any.

Other info:
Growing alone, no others around.

First ones look like an Armillaria species (honey mushrooms). That looks like the closest thing to a possible edible you have there.

#1  Are Armillaria, indeed.

#2  Appear to be Inocybe.  Are you sure that the dark discolouration on the stipe is not blue?  There are some bluing Inocybe species.

#3  Looks like a Hebeoloma.

#4  Not too sure...  But I'll throw out some random, crazy ideas- Russula, Hygrophorus, Clitocybe...
