Hole placement Q (Monotub)
    #11197395 - 10/06/09 10:32 PM (14 years, 5 months ago)

I'm currently in the process of popping wholes in what is to be a monotub.

However, the tub i want to use was given to me with a whopping big whole in the side previously occupied by a very manky looking HEPA, which i removed (it was rather gross looking).

Now, if i wanted to put air flow holes in the side of the tub below, how would i do it, considering one side has a big hole in the center. I thought maybe i could count the big one at the top as two for that side and punch two sub level holes underneath it evenly apart. with two at the top two at the bottom on the other side as per the norm. will this work?

I am sorry for not using my initiative, but i would rather have the advice of someone who knows this stuff before i bust out the old drill.

Thank you in advance for any genuine assistance rendered.

Its an idea, was just wondering whether the one big hole is worth keeping untaped.

Roger that, i might do just that then, better to use tried and true over experimental, as im not particularly experienced.

I live in australia, where the bud is woeful compared to the americas/europe/uk where i have been. Bud is bud though, still makes you hazy in the brain XD.

Nice delicious nugs btw. makes me wanna grow some this year, think im a bit late to pop it in our mother.

One more thing ^____^ would it be possible to fill this sucker up with perlite with the monotub holes (and use it as an FC), while I'm waiting for my spawn. (i don't mind misting profusely if i have to)

I had one quart test jar (of WBS), that finished a week ago and i popped it in a foil tray with some coffee/Coco for food(4 days ago now). Has since started to colonize nicely.

Would i be able to fruit something like this in the aforementioned setup?

Am i dreaming, should i go construct myself a seperate shotgun FC or something similar?.

I agree. I live in the midwest and the bud here is as good (sometimes better) as the stuff my friends get in the mail from the clinics form cali. I have also talked to friends that live in Florida now after living here and say the bud doesn't compare.

you have to think that the good shit comes from far away if its not in some ones house growing.  so yeah you can get decent stuff(krippy?) but your paying way too much for it when i could get much better for cheaper up north coming out of vermont or canada.  big difference!!
