Hydrogen Peroxide

Is it ok to spray a mixture of water and hydrogen peroxide on a cake if you start seeing contams...will it harm the mushrooms if they are sprayed directly?

If your cake is contaminated chuck it! A mist of h202 won't do much at all. Alot of times the contamination will colonize the entire center of your cake and you won't see much on the outside. One of the advantages to casing is that your break up the cakes and will get to see the inside of the cake before you spawn it or whatever... :tongue:

Do a search for Hippies Bleach Tek or Bleach Dunk. I can't remember which it is, but I have heard of people having good results with it.  :smile:
