while my jars are colonizing is it bad for it to get light while i take a quick look at it??

A quick look is ok. Extended exposure to light may cause pinning.

ya don't worry about cause come time when you want them to pin it'll end up taking a week or something and you'll be pissy the whole time (I'm assuming this is your first grow).

depends on the strain. i hear the pf classic strain pins invitro with very little exposure to light. however, with my cambos i can colonize jars in daylight with no pinning
