Fox News Says Yes To Legalization?
    #11195605 - 10/06/09 07:59 PM (8 years, 1 month ago)

http://blog.norml.org/2009/10/05/fox-news-says-yes-to-legalization/

October 5th, 2009 By: Paul Armentano, NORML Deputy Director

When the producer of the FoxNews program ‘Freedom Watch with Judge Napolitano‘ asked me to appear on air last week to discuss the issue of marijuana law reform, I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect.

Fortunately it became clear from the host’s opening monologue that Judge Andrew Napolitano is a powerful and articulate friend of cannabis liberalization.

“The War on Drugs that the federal government has waged, and on which it has spent billions and billions of taxpayer dollars, has been a complete waste of time, money, and effort.

Take marijuana, for instance. It’s been grouped together and enforced by the Drug Enforcement Administration with real hardcore drugs like heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine. But states like California and soon New Jersey have pretty much legalized marijuana for medicinal purposes. While the federal government contends that … marijuana has the potential to promote cancer, patients of cancer and other similar ailments actually use marijuana to fight these deadly diseases.

So wouldn’t the federal government be better off creating the incentive to empower people to make the right choice, to make their own free choice, rather than persecuting them and prosecuting them for what the feds consider to be the wrong choice?”

This issue is bipartisan.  The progressives on both parties support reform.

no, they use it to make them not feel like they have had a beam of radiation being shot into their body and so they can eat.

Most of them use it for that reason.  A select few are beginning to use it to actually reverse tumor growth.

^ Cannabinoids extracted from marijuana have been shown since the 1970s to selectively promote cancerous cell-death and thus is seen by many as a natural, safe and effective cure for cancer. This has been tested with positive results on animals yet the federal government won't fund a study to test this correlation on humans.

It's up to you to figure out just why that might be.

Watch this video entitled "Run From the Cure" for more information on that.

Judge Napolitano is a big supporter of Ron Paul and the Liberty movement. He is a constitutionist and believes in free markets and limited government. And btw do not give fox too much credit because the show is only broadcasted online.

Fox changes their viewpoint to whatever they think will most closely mirror what they think their viewers want to hear.
If you could somehow change peoples' opinions on something fast enough, you could collectively give Fox whiplash like mad.

 Thanks guys. It's good to spread the word. If I were you I'd let as many people know as possible about cannabinoids' anti-cancer activity, so that it cannot be forgotten and/or ignored.
