I have some LC that I would like to turn into rye berry spawn. How much LC should I inject in each of my quart size spawn jars?

3-6 sounds fine to me. I have just never knocked up rye berry before. I was injecting the LC in to sterile bags of hp and using about 50cc's

As little as 1 CC of viable spore solution should do well. 3-6 is a bit overkill, but if you have plenty of spores . . .

dude if you have LC dont be shiesty with it, use a shit ton of it. i use about 5 cc's per quart jar and then shake it up so the LC is on everything, you wont be dissapointed with the results if you use more, it just speeds up the process

I have enough LC to use 10cc's per jar and have leftovers. I just didn't know if there was a maximum or optimal level. Thanks!

Too much will ruin the water content and nothing will grow.

I would think so. That is a lot of liquid. I do 3 at most with an LC. It is plenty!

Like I said above, For my quarts of rye I use 3-6cc's mostly 5, it pools at the bottom like a ring, I have never had any issues with throwing the water content off.
As for 10cc's I have no idea, Never ventured that far. However I could see that throwing it off.
As dance said, 3cc's is plenty to get the job done, If you do more you save time but not as much as you would think. I have only seen in my past experience a day or 2 at the most.

Thanks for all the help! I will try using 5cc's since that is the smallest graduation on my 140cc syringe. Wish me luck.

Yes, because all spores germinate and grow in less that 24 hours.
