Got a couple of BRF cakes I want to throw outside - need your advice

Ok....  so I have a couple of fully colonized BRF cakes sitting here and I want to try something outside.

The weather is perfect....  it's warm, muggy, and rains daily.

What's the best way to do this?  Break them up and toss them in with some compost?  Try to case them outside somehow?

Would love to hear the suggestions on how to best use this sweet mycellium.

Thanks!

Cover it with what?  Should I try a mix of compost and verm?
