Do you eat the pore surface of a Bolete?

I've got some Boletus chrysenteron, Red-cracked Bolete, and I've seen different information on preperation. Some literature says to remove all of the pore surface and eat only the cap flesh, other literature says nothing about that and shows pictures of the mushroom being prepared with pore surface intact. What's your practice?

next time field dress them and spread the pores around so you get more next year. pores texture sucks
