picked some liberty caps?

so i picked these yesterday and im pretty sure they are liberty caps but not completely sure.

Take the stems and see if you can wrap them around your finger without them breaking. Kind of like a noodle.

Those mushrooms their seem to be it but the 2nd and the right and 5th on the right look weird never seen fan out like that.

The first ones maybe Stropharia semiglobata. Fresh specimen would have really helped. The second ones are Panaeolus.

It's easy to search that.  There are active Panaeolus sp., but that isn't one of them.

How do you know what to look for when viewing pictures. How much different is it in the natural vs picture clip.

Not sure of the question.  You have to learn a mushroom's defining characteristics before you can ID it.  Are you asking what active Panaeolus species look like?  Start by searching Panaeolus subbalteatus.
