Boil Sterilizatoin for Verm

Would you guys consider a 45 min strong boil enough to sterilize verm to be used in a casing layer?  My buddy would appreciate the help...

i put in the oven lowist temp 30 min and its fine

Pasteurize it. The method in my tek is really easy to do.

If that works for feelfunny, that sounds fine. Try that.
I put the verm (hydrated) in a glass baking pan w/ the top covered w/ tinfoil. Then it goes in the oven @ 350F for an hour. You can also put (hydrated) verm in a microwave safe container and microwave it on high for 20 mins. Stopping every 5 mins to stir the verm up good, get the bottom on the top and mix.

Then let cool in the oven/microwave, it will take a while so plan around it. Use it at room temp, a good test is touching it with a gloved hand. Your body is 98F, if it is cool enough feeling to your hand it is good to go.

Do not boil it, that will not do the job.
