colonization=100%

My first jar(s) have become 100% colonized and now time to plan the fruiting chamber. After I wait a week.
I was going to do the dunk and roll method. For the chamber I am going to do a shot-gun chamber that will be in my closet (doors will be constantly open for ambient light to get in)
My only question is do I need perlite if I mist and fan on a normal basis?

perlite is the recommended solution to keep humidity high within your FC.

Perlite, definitely. Clean, easy, keeps humidity constant rather then the up and down of relying only on misting.

That's true. I probably should have said that instead.

I know this is the accepted norm or "fact" but I only do the 5 sides, leaving the bottom whole. My room has a small vornado fan on low (which still puts out quite a storm) 24/7 and a 7 stage air purifier rated at 3500sq ft on 24/7. I do rather well as you might see if you look at my galleries and past posts.
You can see all the equipment in ,my picture gallery.

I was planning on doing the dunk n roll method where I roll the cake in fresh verm.

I am not sure your closet is a good choiche, even with the doors open. RR says:" The terrarium should be on a shelf out in the open for best performance" (http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/9607808#9607808). It's up to you. GL

A small bit will find its way through the holes, but not enough to make a big mess. If you don't shake or move the FC then you're not gonna have a problem. Make sure the holes are 1/4 inch.

Put a bright fluorescent lamp in the closet. Normally, the ambient light that seeps into a closet isn't going to be enough for good results. It would work better on an open shelf in your room. RR

I got better flushes in my closet under a four foot fluorescent than I did in the corner of my bedroom under two 60 watt incandescents. The containers were opaque with clear lids, though those are hard to find it seems.
