skinny bluing grass mushroom

Habitat: Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc. - found growing near blue-ringers in lawn along forest back-roads.
Gills: Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc. -brown/tan?, not sure of gill attachment, but i think not attached.
Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc. - 3 to 4" long, thin, fragile.
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc. - less than 1.5" diameter, light brown/tan, smooth, dry, mostly conical.
Spore print color: Very important! - purple-brown
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, if any. - found with some bluing on the caps and stems, became more clearly blue after drying.
Location: - near monroe, wa.
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills. - I found these same ones (last picture) a few weeks ago from the same spot and took em home, but the bluing wasn't very strong so i tossed em. There was definite bluing on the biggest of these when i found em. Based on the amount of bluing i would supsect them to be slightly to not active.

I agree. Very interesting. However, I am not so sure if the "bluing" doesn't come from spores deposit.

its definitely bluing, just very lightly. my camera doesn't do it justice either. When i found them, the biggest one had a four-leaf clover pattern of bluish tint on the cap i noticed as i walked up to it. The spores are very purple, not so much brown, and certainly not blue.

Cool. I don't recall I've ever found P. Strictipes. Did you find them down in the valley or up in the backwoods?

P. strictipes came to mind too, but i thought it was more of pasture mushroom, same habitat as libs. It does make a lot of sense though.

I found a similar species the other day and tripped hard off them. These seem to be Panaeolus cyanescens.

Can Pan cyans survive up here in the cold. I think there would be more bruising if it were a Pan cyan.

How many of those that you don't seem to be able to identify properly did you eat when you "tripped hard"?

I want to know what his definition of tripping hard is..
Like..do you mean you fell over a log and bumped your head?
