I started lurking in the late 90's some time. Back when a half pint jar was gold.

Originally all the mod/admin had bio's you could read and pictures of everybody.

things are very different, the haydays of '02, '03, and 2004 were great. such a healthy learning environment.

There's still some good people around. I find the noise drowns them out a bit but they shine through.

The first time I ever got on the internet was on a college computer in 1997, the first thing I searched for was "grow magic mushrooms".

This site was only a few weeks old. My original login was lost in the great crash of '01, for some reason this one survived. :ohwell:

When I got online in 2000, the first website I visited was the Shroomery (had the URL from a mushrooms booklet), I lurked since then because I didnt dare become a member of a website with such legally questionable content. I loved the shit out of it, but only in early 2002 I made the step to finally register.

I wish I regged a few days earlier though, I would have been member 100000 regged at 02/02/02.
