FUCKKKK MY THUMB NAILL AHHHH

I FUCKING NAIL;ED IT WITH A SLUDGEHAMMER AT WORK TODAY ITS TOTAL BLACK.

NEED PAINKILLERS FUCKKK.

Should i drill a hole in the nail to relieve pressure or let it do its thing?

i'd drill a hole.  i've done that before.  used a really sharp, pointy knife and very slowly twisted it back and forth on the nail.

I slammed my index finger in a door and it swelled up huge. Half a bottle of whiskey, lots of ice, a needle and a lighter is what I used to make a hole in the nail. Relieving the pressure helped a ton. Just be sure to be sterile.

My brother slammed his finger in the door and he also poked a hole it pours out. But after hejust had a black finger that didnt hurt until it healed.Also keep your finger str8 and not bent

So i should ice it first till numb then heat needle with lighter nd it should push righ through the nail, the pressure is so fucking bad

I would advise you to sterilize an actual drill bit if you have a very, very small one available then use your fingers to spin it and use that to relieve the pressure. That way you can create a hole in the nail without cauterizing anything or applying too much pressure. The idea is to drain the fluid so that, ideally, the nail will remain attached instead of falling off due to excessive swelling. Good luck. Soaking in water first will help... think about how your fingernails are when you get out of a bath.

no small drill bit, so needle is all i got, so do i heat the needle or not and try to use it while its hot

Wrong. If you ice it the swelling will go down and that will relieve the pressure. It will also numb the area before he does his needle thing.

Don't forget the whiskey, it helps a lot with the pain. :lol:

This should have been taken care of a long time ago
1) soak thumb in warm water
2) prepare needle and grasping tool... I.e. grab needle with needle nosed pliers
3) sterilize needle by heating with flame and letting cool
4) Push through thumb nail

This should let the pooled up blood out. Losing nails sucks. It should also reduce pain.

The warm water will hurt.

Then sporeprint the thumb. rofl, good luck, hope it stays attached.
